Michael Margolis, President and founder
Michael is a business storyteller and pop anthropologist with a passion for organizational dynamics. He has pioneered a new approach to Change Leadership that creates the necessary buy-in and support for new ideas to take hold. He offers a decade of experience across the realms of brand storytelling, organizational change, and cultural innovation.
Previously, Michael co-founded and helped lead two social enterprises in the areas of public service and workforce development. A frequent speaker and writer, Michael presents a fresh perspective on the challenge of leading, communicating, and innovating in the 21st century. Michael is a contributing author to the leading compendium on strategic storytelling, Wake Me Up When the Data is Over: How Organizations Use Stories to Drive Results (Jossey-Bass, 2006). Stephanie Jowers-Margolis, COO and Partner
Stephanie is a discreet problem-solver and social entrepreneur with fifteen years experience. Her partner role at THIRSTY-FISH includes strategy, client relations, and operations. Stephanie has a steadfast aptitude for revealing hidden barriers to growth and inspiring leaders into action. She offers a nuanced approach to stakeholder management, diplomacy, and high-stakes initiatives.
Most recently, Stephanie served as the Director of Membership and Strategic Relations for the National Peace Corps Association. In prior experiences, she served as the Deputy Director of an NGO that worked to bridge the digital divide, co-founded a technology start-up in Monaco, managed a national lobbying program on forestry, and helped bring Tibetan human rights into popular culture. As a former Peace Corps business volunteer in Tangier, Morocco, she supported emerging enterprises in the handicraft sector. As a teenager, Stephanie helped found the student division of the Sierra Club and was a weekly columnist for the Times-Picayune in New Orleans.
